What will you do?
You will contribute to a future-proof and secure IT structure that is implemented globally by:
- Standardization and guidelines: Revising and developing global standards for networks, cloud, and on-premises environments to achieve a scalable and uniform IT structure.
- Architecture development: Establishing a clear cloud and infrastructure vision to guide all projects.
- Strategic alignment and guidance: Collaborating closely with global IT managers to align local infrastructures with the global architecture.
- Innovation and technology integration: Proactively integrating new technologies and involving business units in relevant innovations to ensure the infrastructure is future-ready.

- Salary: A competitive salary between € 5.379,- and € 7.172,- based on a 40-hour workweek.

You will join Royal De Heus, one of the largest family businesses in the Netherlands. Based at the headquarters in Ede, you’ll work alongside 250–300 colleagues. As a Cloud & Infra Solution Architect, you’ll interact with various departments, from the Cloud & Infra Manager and Product Owner Cloud to IT Engineers and the Solution Architect Modern Workplace. Both Dutch and English are spoken on-site.
What do we expect from you?
- Experience: At least 10 years in IT infrastructure, with expertise in cloud solutions, networks, server management, and security.
- Technical knowledge: Deep expertise in platforms such as Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps, and SD-WAN.
- Educational background: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Certifications: Preferably TOGAF 9, MCSE (e.g., Cloud Platform and Infrastructure), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
- Personal qualities: A can-do attitude, critical and analytical thinking, and warm, charismatic communication skills in both Dutch and English.
